24/7 stock trading: buy US stocks and ETFs with USDC, USDT or USD

Risk warning. Not financial advice. Crypto is highly volatile and may drop in value significantly. You may lose the amounts you invest and your investments do not benefit from any form of financial protection. The value of shares can fall as well as rise, and you may get back less than you invest.

24/7 stock trading on Backpack covers US stocks and ETFs: 24 hours a day on weekdays through traditional US markets, and from Friday 8 PM to Sunday 8 PM ET on Backpack's own market, funded with USDC, USDT or a USD wire. What you hold is a security entitlement under New York UCC Article 8. The broker named on the live stock pages is Trek Brokerage Services Limited (Anjouan).

The weekday window drawn above, Sunday 8 PM to Friday 8 PM ET, is the week minus the stated weekend session.

Outside the regular US exchange session fewer buyers and sellers are active. Prices can be further apart and can jump when the main session reopens, so an overnight, weekend or holiday order may fill at a worse price than you expect.

What you own when you buy a stock on Backpack

live stocks page read 6 Oct 2026

According to the live stocks page, a stock or ETF bought on Backpack is held as a security entitlement under New York UCC Article 8, with cash dividends and transfer to other brokerages.

How a stock order on Backpack becomes a holding, in four steps Step 1: you fund the account with USDC, USDT or a USD wire. Step 2: you place an order, which goes to traditional US markets on weekdays and to Backpack's own market at the weekend and on US holidays. Step 3: Trek Brokerage Services Limited acts as intermediary broker. Step 4: the holding is recorded as a security entitlement under New York UCC Article 8, which converts 1:1 with a tokenized security on Solana. 1 Fund the account USDC, USDT or a USD wire Solana, Ethereum, Base or bank wire 2 Place an order weekdays, 24 hours a day Traditional US markets weekend and US holidays Backpack's own market five days a week Fri 8 PM to Sun 8 PM ET 3 A broker stands in between Trek Brokerage Services Limited intermediary broker, Anjouan licence no. not shown on the site 4 You hold an entitlement Security entitlement New York UCC Article 8 1:1 with a tokenized security custodian not named in the sources on Solana, since June 2026

From funding to holding in four steps.

A security entitlement, not a synthetic token

UCC section 8-102 defines an entitlement holder as the person identified in the records of a securities intermediary, such as a broker, as having a security entitlement against it. So the holding is a set of rights in a share, recorded in the books of an intermediary. It is not a token that only follows a price, and it is not one of the equity perpetual futures, which are derivatives and not shares.

The live site also says "Real shares" on its stocks page and "tokenized US stocks" in its llms.txt file. This page keeps to one description. The glossary explains what a security entitlement is.

Dividends and transfers

The live stocks page says holders receive cash dividends and can transfer holdings to other brokerages. The home page adds full shareholder rights.

The sources do not say in which currency a dividend is paid, what tax is withheld, how votes are cast, or how long a transfer takes and what it costs.

Converting to tokenized securities

The About page timeline dates the public beta of Backpack Securities (US stocks and ETFs) and Backpack Tokenized Securities on Solana to June 2026, with 1:1 conversion between security entitlements and tokenized securities. It also lists a partnership with Superstate on tokenized public equities in October 2025.

Which tickers can be converted, who issues the token and which rights it carries in a wallet are not stated. The guide explains how tokenized stocks differ from ordinary shares.

The stocks page also mentions stablecoins across more than 15 networks and global fiat rails, without listing them. Minimums, limits and settlement times are not stated in the sources.

The 0% figure is the commission that the live home page banner advertises for stock trading. A zero commission is not the whole cost. The gap between the buying and the selling price is a cost too, and the sources state no figure for it.

Using stocks as collateral

The live home page says stocks are usable as collateral, in an account where spot and perpetual futures share one margin system. Shares you hold can count towards the margin behind other positions.

If a share price falls, that collateral is worth less, the margin left for other positions shrinks, and those positions can be liquidated. A weekend drop in one stock can close a crypto position you meant to keep.

How much of a stock's value counts, and whether shares can be sold in a liquidation, is not stated. No rate is printed here: the live site showed different headline figures for the same USD balance, so the figure sits only in the dated rate block on the lending page.

Risks

Market risk
Share prices can fall as well as rise, and you may get back less than you invest.
Off-hours liquidity
Overnight, at the weekend and on US holidays fewer orders are in the market, so prices can move sharply.
Company and jurisdiction
The broker named is an Anjouan company. The sources show no licence number, no custodian and no investor-protection scheme.
Stablecoin on the funding leg
If you fund with USDC or USDT, a stablecoin that loses its peg changes what your money is worth.
Collateral liquidation
Shares used as collateral can lose value and trigger the liquidation of your other positions.

Stock trading FAQ

Are the stocks on Backpack real shares?

The live stocks page describes them as security entitlements under New York UCC Article 8: rights in a share that are recorded in the books of an intermediary, not a token that only follows a price. The custodian that holds the underlying shares is not named in the sources.

Do I receive dividends?

Yes, according to the live stocks page, which says holders receive cash dividends. It does not say in which currency a dividend is paid, when it reaches the account or what tax is withheld. Ask support for the terms that apply in your country before you buy a stock for its income.

Can I transfer my shares to another broker?

The live site says holdings can be transferred to other brokerages. The sources do not describe the process, the time it takes, the fee or which receiving brokers are accepted. Treat a transfer as possible in principle and confirm the details with support before you rely on it.

Can I trade stocks at the weekend?

Yes. From Friday 8 PM to Sunday 8 PM ET, and during US market holidays, orders go to Backpack's own market instead of traditional US markets. Fewer participants trade then, so the gap between buying and selling prices can be wider and the price can differ from the next US market open.

Which stocks and ETFs are listed?

The live sitemap listed 6,232 stock and ETF pages on 6 October 2026. That is a count of pages, not a promise that every ticker can be traded in every region or session. Check the page for the ticker you want before you fund the account.

Is stock trading on Backpack available in my country?

It depends on your country, and the sources do not list where stock trading is open. In the text served to an EU address, brokerage is provided through Trek Brokerage Services Limited, an Anjouan company, and not under the CySEC, MiCA or VARA licences. The provider section shows what is known for each region.
